A Study on the Retention Effectiveness Analysis of a Green Wall as a Low Impact Development (LID) Facility

Urbanization and climate change produce distortions in urban water circulation. This issue can be resolved using a stormwater management technique called Low Impact Development (LID), which mimics natural processes restores the hydrological state as it was before development. study aims to evaluate performance of LID facility calculate runoff reduction delay effect. The test-bed is green wall Korea GI & Center. Scenarios for 30 mm/hr, 50 70 mm/hr were set based on percentile rainfall events from 2012 2021 Geumjeong-gu, Busan. By setting an impervious surface control group, found 91%~94% mm/hr. total outflow time increased by 47, 88, 58 minutes, respectively, demonstrating effect reduced delayed time. A storm model (SWMM) constructed this quantitatively. Verification correction done experiment results. R<sup>2</sup> 0.96~0.98 test 0.93~0.94 correction. paper thus verified retention effectiveness analyzed its quantitative through SWMM. findings used guideline parameter-wise model.
